Job Description

■Recruitment Background
At Belong, we are building an ecosystem of used mobile devices based on our mission to "Deliver next value to where we belong”. 

Front-end engineers at Belong are expected to take a leadership role in the design, development, testing and operation of Web UI for internal and external use. We also value communication within the team, such as developing highly readable and reusable code based on best practices, and collaborating with back-end engineers on API design.
Belong also manages NICOSUMA and Belong Buy services for individual customers, Belong One service for corporate customers, and services for internal users. There are many opportunities for front-end engineers to work as there are many points of contact with users from various angles. We are looking for a member who will work with us to further enhance the user experience of Belong's growing services and increase the speed of development.

■Responsibilities
・Development and improvement of Web UI for each service
・Building management screens for inventory management systems and internal tools
・Building screens for NICOSUMA, EC, buying applications, etc.
・Launching new projects
・Creation of shared libraries used across products
・Customize Shopify, creating apps and improvement administration screens
・Posting blogs and participation in conferences and events

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required Skills/Experience Degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent practical experience Understanding of SDLC, including version control systems and CI/CD Experience in Web front-end design and development Experience with JavaScript and SPA frameworks, such as React and Vue Experience with Typescript development and understanding of best practices Experience with GraphQL ■Preferred skills/experience Experience with developing used Typescript and Next.js Knowledge of UX design practices Experience with SEO optimization and Google Analytics for EC sites Experience with developing BtoB services Knowledge of design patterns and architectural design skills and experience Mentoring and managing junior team members Fluent in Japanese and business level English for remote meetings ■Ideal Applicants Those who can share Belong's mission "Deliver next value to where we belong”.
