Job Description

■Recruitment Background
At Belong, we are building an ecosystem of used mobile devices based on our mission to "Deliver next value to where we belong”.
Back-end software engineers at Belong Inc. are expected to take a leadership role in designing and developing Web servers and API servers, as well as testing and operating them.
Most of our server-side software is written in Go and run on Google Cloud, partly in Python. The successful candidate is expected to write code and tests that are highly readable and reusable with team development in mind.
In addition, The successful candidate may also be assigned to SRE activities to achieve DevOps, including maintenance of the execution environment in Google Cloud, CI/CD and Terraform settings, depending on your preference.

■Responsibilities
・Design, development and operation of the server side of internal and external services
・Writing and maintenance of design documents
・Disseminate knowledge gained through projects both internally and externally

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required Skills/Experience Degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent practical experience Ability to solve abstract and complex problems using knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures and algorithms Understanding of SDLC, including version control systems and CI/CD Experience with programming languages such as Go, Python, Java, etc. Experience with public clouds such as Google Cloud, AWS, etc. Knowledge of container technologies, databases and information security ■Preferred Skills/Experience Experience in building REST APIs Experience in either web application development, API integration in microservices or inventory management system development API integration system construction using gRPC with Protocol Buffer Experience in developing and operating Google Cloud products, such as Cloud Run, CloudSQL, etc. Knowledge of architectural design at the code and service level, such as DDD, microservice architecture and design patterns Fluency in Japanese and comfort with English ■Ideal Applicants Those who can share Belong's mission "Deliver next value to where we belong”.
