■Recruitment Background
At Belong, we are building an ecosystem of used mobile devices based on our mission to "Deliver next value to where we belong”.

Belong Inc.'s engineering team includes some roles, such as software engineers, SREs, TPMs and project managers, and they work with different specialities. The engineering manager is expected to not only have technical specialities, but also to manage the various members of the engineering team to maximize productivity and provide mentoring and career support.

■Responsibilities
・Team management of software engineers, including mentoring and career conversations and collaborating with product managers and other teams
・Design and review of Web applications and APIs
・Providing technical advice and guidance to the team to ensure smooth development
・Lead of team-wide initiatives, including strengthening and operating support systems across product lines
・Building the engineering organization, including recruiting and team policy development

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required Skills/Experience Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience Experience in mentoring and managing engineers as a tech lead or project manager Understanding of SDLC, including version control systems and CI/CD Experience or understanding of programming languages, such as Go, Python, JavaScript, etc. Skills in negotiating and facilitating discussions with stakeholders with different KPIs and objectives Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in person and remotely ■Preferred Skills/Experience 6+ years experience in the IT industry 2+ years experience in leading a team of 3+ engineering members as a manager Experience in building software products used internally and externally Deep expertise and skills in a specific area, such as server-side, front-end, data science, etc. Experience in collaborating across team boundaries with other team members, such as project managers and UX designers Experience in vendor management Experience in building and managing production support teams Knowledge of container technology, databases and information security ■Ideal Applicants Those who can share " Belong's mission "Deliver next value to where we belong”.
