Job Description

■Background of the recruitment
We are a startup that has developed the world's first "Magnus-type wind turbine generator" for practical use.
We aim to supply safe and secure energy through the development of even larger Magnus-type wind power generators.

In order to realize the world's one and only domestically produced wind turbine, we are entrusting design and evaluation tests from conceptual study to product maturity.
To achieve our vision of "bringing innovation to wind power generation and supplying safe and secure energy to all mankind," we invite you to become a member of our team and work with us to bring about technological innovation.

■Job Description
You will be responsible for the mechanical and structural design of a 100kW vertical axis Magnus-type wind turbine, and will be responsible for its realization (drawing) based on conceptual design and concepts.

＜Specific job duties＞
Structural and housing design of wind turbine components
Strength study of wind turbine components
Planning, implementation, and evaluation of tests for wind turbine components.
Assembly and installation of prototype and mass production machines
Planning, implementation, and evaluation of actual environment tests for prototypes and mass production machines
Creation of 3D CAD and 2D drawings
Meetings with manufacturers, etc.
Local support and domestic and overseas business trips are required.

■Job Satisfaction
The realization of this 100kW machine will provide a new option of locally produced renewable energy for non-electrified areas such as islands and emerging countries that have not been able to utilize wind energy, and will solve the global issue of decarbonization through the power of manufacturing. 

Also, because no one has ever made a wind turbine before, even those who have never worked on an existing wind turbine can make use of their skills as specialists.

MBO evaluation is a system in which the evaluation is based on the degree of achievement against the goals set for each individual or team.

Required Skills and Experiences

■Required: Development Skills ・Experience in designing large machinery, especially rotating mechanisms ・Experience in CAD design and analysis ■Required: Soft Skill ・Japanese business level or above 　(JLPT N2 or equivalent) ■Preferred ・Knowledge of standards related to wind turbine generators ・Experience in designing, testing, and evaluating mechanical/industrial equipment (e.g., plant equipment, production equipment lines, conveyor systems) ・Experience in design, testing, and evaluation of mechanical/industrial equipment (e.g., plant equipment, production lines, conveyor systems) ・Knowledge of structural design of drive mechanisms, heat, fluid, measurement, machine safety, etc. ・Experience in design work in projects from specification study to mechanism and chassis design, prototyping, evaluation, and mass production start-up. ・Experience in design work in projects from specification study to mechanism and chassis design, prototyping, evaluation, and mass production start-up. ・Qualification as a Professional Engineer ■Ideal Applicants ・A person who can communicate smoothly with people from different divisions. ・A person who can identify problems, involve team members, and act proactively to solve them. ・A person who can refer to various machines and mechanisms from other fields and come up with ideas. ・Graduation from a technical college is welcome.

Flextime system standard hours: 8 hours/day
Core time: 10:00 - 16:30
Flexible hours: 7:00 - 10:00 / 16:30 - 20:00

5 million yen to 12 million yen
*Overtime will be paid on a per-minute basis.
